I've been using this little emacs for years and LOVE it.
It is exactly what I need. Sure, there aren't all the
functions in a "real" emacs, but whoever uses Meta-Ctrl-X-Fill-
Blank-Spaces-With-Ampersands-and-Switch-Alternate-
Paragraphs anyway?
Good job!

I've been using NotGNU for a while, and it's great.
I keep thinking about having it as a front-end to George Carette's SIOD
(Scheme) interpreter/compiler, to get a minimal but fully functional
Lisp machine environment going....
Thanks for all the effort - it's been worth it.

Good, good, good...good, good. Thank goodness you decided to write a version of emacs for the PC/Windows and then give it away free!
Love this editor. I fell into using it here at Intel on the UNIX system after finding the limitations of vi. Then when on a PC, I found that word is also seriously limited and looonged for emacs. You've saved the day!
Thanks

I have been using NOTGNU for quite a time already on my windows box and I like
it a lot. Just unzipping the archive and ready for use is really what I like, instead of
all these obscure install wizzards which normally modify quite a bit of files al over
the place. Furthermore, it is a nice light weight editor which does exactly what one
needs without all the overhead one usually gets 'for free' with other programs.

tired of not being able to write files with extended names, so I went looking to
see if there was a W95 version yet, and there was! Thanks a bunch!
